The Sparkler Series: Next Chapter

Today we start a series of individual Sparkler updates, beginning with the puppy formerly known as Taylor.

This puppy went to Lori in New York because she wanted a show puppy with a middle-of-the-road personality/temperament who would enjoy performance events; Taylor fit the bill. The Small Print: A middle-of-the-road personality/temperament from this litter is likely a pretty drivey puppy when compared to other litters.

Lori sends us this wonderful report: "Taylor is now Kaibab's Justice for All. Call name Ruthie.

[Editor inserted photo hint]

Ruthie is such a delightful, sweet and smart puppy. Her confidence is evident as she experiences new things - curiosity wins over fear every time! I love how she is friendly and outgoing yet at times is pensive and quiet.

She learned to sit when asked almost immediately and now offers that behavior whenever she wants something - clearly she is a genius. Ruthie has the most adorable habit of poking things with her nose, like a seal. It's so funny! If she thinks I'm not noticing her lovely sit she will poke my leg. Gets me every time.

So far Ruthie has visited my Mom at her house...

... and been to two dental offices to meet the staff (my co-workers). Sunday she meet a two year old boy who came to visit with his mom and grandmother.

George initially thought Ruthie should go back to Montana as soon as possible...

...however he is beginning to think she may not be so bad. Then, on Sunday I found him trying to send her to China!

It's going to take a little more time but I know they will be best friends soon enough.

Once again, Mary-Ann has chosen the perfect puppy for me and I am ever so grateful. Thank you seems so inadequate. I am looking forward to lots of fun and adventures with Ruthie (and George)."

Thank you to Lori and her family for welcoming Ruthie Taylor into their family!

Love this update, and thank you for doing this. I am not FB friends with all of new puppy families, so it's nice to have all of the puppy updates on the blog. Great name, and great home!

Poor George! Ava hasn't gone so far as to send Zimmer to China. I think she's waiting for me to do it. She is camping out on top of the sofa, much like a cat, and just watching. He'll be up there in no time I'm sure.

a little pink rabbit in one of those pictures. Thank you all for having the little toy for each pup -- it makes the memory of avery lovely weekend visit last a long time. :-) Ruthie is such a beauty. She is a lively girl, and I look forward to following her adventures!
