The Puppy Formerly -- and Forever -- Known as Zimmer

Today we have a report from Salt Lake City where Zimmer now resides with our most excellent friends, Jack and Kathy, and his iPup Aunt, Ava. Did you know that five of the nine Sparklers are in iPup homes? Kathy sends us this wonderful report on Mr. Charming...

Zimmer came to us in the midst of a very exciting puppy party.  We have thought of numerous names over the last days, but Zimmer just seems the only name that fits.  We don’t have a registered name, so suggestions are appreciated.

At the party he continued to demonstrate his extreme interest in knotholes.

He is a very happy, playful guy who keeps us busy.  He is quick to learn and we are anticipating another wonderful Kaibab working dog in the future.

He can be very vocal and quite bossy when he doesn’t like something.  He definitely doesn’t care for the flash on my camera and he told me so very clearly.

My grandson is visiting from San Diego and Zimmer has decided he definitely likes boys!

It snowed this morning and Zimmer was in seventh heaven.  After all, he is a Montana boy.

We already love this boy so much.  Even Ava is coming around.  She spent the first few days on top of the couch way out of reach, and still retreats now and then.  But today they played together in the snow and engaged in a little tug.  They will be good pals I think.

Thank you Mary-Ann for this very special boy.  We think he just has to be the most adorable pup in the entire J litter!

I so love that puppy!
I looked up the meaning of Zimmer and, translated from German it means carpenter! Well, THAT explains his obsession with knotholes!
How about Kaibab's Jigsaw Artist?

I love your name suggestion!

How about a play on the word "Summer"? I was thinking "Hot fun in the Zimmer-time".

Very cute idea. Makes me think we should have a naming contest.

I think with what Lori found it all kinda lines up! But, whatever you name him it will be awesome!

Kaibab's Joyful Zimmetry

Oh I'm loving all these, please keep them coming!!

Love that Zimmer is keeping his name. How about Kaibab's Just 11550, a nod to Mt Zimmer.

by BarbZ on Fri, 02/24/2017 - 15:10

The actual meaning of Zimmer is "room" but Zimmermann is one who builds rooms or carpenter. I like Joyful Zimmetry or Just Call Me Zimmer. It's a cool name and only one in Bernergarde. Other J thoughts
Jumping for Joy (for your Joy),
Just Zimmer Down

Zimmer is such a delightful little man -- interested in everything and everyone, and so, so sweet. It looks like he is in the perfect place.

That picture of Zimmer "singing," made me truly LOL -- what a fantastic shot!

I just love the freckles. I know I've said that before, but it's just so true.
Registered name suggestion - Kaibab's Knock On Wood, or to the knothole fascination, Kaibab's Knot On Wood
