Photos and Fun

I want to send a special shout out to Terri and Peaches (F Litter). Peaches teamed up with her niece, Tilly (owned by Jennifer Brightbill), and together they earned Peaches' Novice Brace Draft Dog title yesterday.

Peaches (the darker member of the veteran team) has certainly taken Terri on some adventures -- Terri never really expected to have a working dog, but Peaches is the Queen of Nosework, loves draft and has passed many tests, and even got Terri in the Team Obedience ring with us in April. Congratulation to Team Peaches (and Tilly -- also a wonderful girl). And kudos to Terri for being willing to do so many new things!

I love this photo of Purna, also from the F Litter (Zack x Halo)...

And here is Zed, another member of the nearly nine F Litter...

Sue sent along this photo of Lucas (Sparkler)...

Doesn't he look like a DOG?! Yes, I know he is a dog -- but I mean a dog as opposed to a puppy ;) Five months seems to be that age when -- *poof* -- the baby transforms. Thanks, Sue!

These are photos of Claire, also a Sparkler, from a playdate she had yesterday with Joni's puppy, Neon...

I was talking to Aysha yesterday about the upcoming Adventures at Dog Shows and she was sharing what a long tail Tika (Sparkler) has -- and then Joni made the same observation about Claire. In this photo of Claire posing as a Pointer, you can really see it...

A Saturday in summer -- it doesn't get too much better than that, does it?! Please make it a terrific day.

Thanks for posting the fun pics and congrats to team Peaches. Long tails seem to be common with the Sparklers. Lucas has an exceptionally long, beautiful tail also.

Sparkler Kiri also has a long tail. What I especially like about her tail is that when she wags she taps her ribs on each side. My first Berner girl, many years ago, also had a rib tapping wag. Makes me smile every time.

Zimmer too.

Clearly long tails area sign of genius :-) We have certainly seen at Tony & Brody's Z.eD's looooong tail in person, and it's an indicator of his equally impressive brain!

Thanks for all the lovely pictures. Happy dogs are always good for smiles.

Thanks for the shout out on Peaches' accomplishments! She had a 3-day "working" weekend with 4 out of 5 draft tests passed, two Novice Brace passes with Tilly and two Open passes, Peach and Tilly were a great team. Peaches has now passed 16 Draft tests total and has 20 Nose Work titles.

Thanks Mary-Ann for such a special pup that has taught me more than I ever imagined, and who proudly wears a bunch of letters after her name! Going for more letters next weekend!
