Day 1: Filer

Harper B for Bum Leg had a good day...

There is lots to watch here...

Are you seeing double (trouble)?

That is Claire under the tail. Tika (formerly Tweedy) is here! Isn't she lovely?

Of course that means that Aysha is also here. She has her trailer and so we have "yards" that face each other. The yards are really nice for the dogs -- they can go inside or be out on the grass, watching the (dog show) world go by. It sure beats the life these dogs have...

The van is full of crates like that - and dogs. Some are in x-pens right now, hence the empty crates. Here is my question -- who thinks that is a good idea?! Dog shows -- like life -- is kind of shitty sometimes. If that kind of life was required to show a dog, mine would stay home.

Sparkle had a good day -- Best of Breed; she also placed in the Owner-Handled Group.

Aw, she just has that look like "didn't we already do this?". Here's hoping her recovery goes smoothly and speedily!

I love how you have sweet little yards for the dogs to relax in. The van with all those crates looks just awful. Poor dogs :-(

First, congrats on Sparkle's BOB, and OH placement! What kind of dog is the third tri-colored one in the photo? A Rat Terrier?
I always end up with many conflicting feelings at/after dog shows. One is sadness about how many show dogs do not live very good lives, in spite of what their owners/handlers/tv personalities who provide commentary during shows say.
