A Quick Weekend Report

I went to Utah and forgot the camera! UGH! But I did have my phone so here is the quick report...

Best of all and the real reason I went -- I got to visit Dear Daughter and Dear Sons :) :)

I wasn't there on Thursday so I missed Marti finishing Lili's Championship. Congratulations to them! Owner-Handled all the way :)

On Friday Barbz's girl, Zsa Zsa, finished her Grand Championship -- Yay for Team Zsa Zsa!

On Saturday I showed Kidd (iPup) to Reserve Winners Dog and Sparkle was Select for 4 points. The Best of Breed entry was HUGE for a Utah show so this was very nice :) Sparkle also got an Owner-Handled Group Four -- also a big deal.

On Sunday Kidd was again Reserve and Bouncing, Tugging, Hopping Claire was Reserve Winners Bitch, which was quite an accomplishment given the previous adjectives. In addition to more work in that whole beauty pageant thing, Claire also needs some work as a ribbon holder...

Sparkle was Best of Opposite -- four more points towards her Bronze Grand Championship...

Sparkle was also Owner-Handled Best of Breed but we could not stay for Groups because of time -- instead the girls and I just headed on home...

BUT I just remembered that Elizabethanne took some great photos -- but I have to dash off to work so I will save those for tomorrow.

Congrats to all those earning accomplishments. Sparkle must have at least a bushel of ribbons by now. Like his sister, Lucas is also working on eating inedible things.

I thought he was not intact anymore? Or do I have the wrong dog? Are you heading to our Regional in October?

Kidd is indeed intact and showable :)

I'm not sure that I would call a dog that had a vasectomy intact. This is the same dog, right?

Same dog -- see today's post. The AKC requires two testicles -- they do not require they function, which is a good thing for some stud dogs out there. However, Kidd's DO function and he does indeed have a sperm count and vasectomies can be reversed. That should help explain things ;)
