Quick Update

A quick update as today starts the Helena shows and I am running over there soon (and then coming back for work and then going back to Helena -- repeat x2).

Zoey appears to see nothing when it is dark but light is helpful and she can navigate some. She has no other obvious symptoms or issues, and the bloodwork was unremarkable with the exception of the low platelets. We are being careful with Zoey, and she is not allowed to get a new tattoo or a manicure while this is going on. Unfortunately, she cannot do brace draft this weekend in Helena either. Bummer.

So that is the Zoey report. When I have time I will post the new Ruthie Update (Sparkler - thank you, Lori) but for now -- here is a photo of Ruthie and George (iPup)...

The Sparklers are nine months old today -- Happy Birthday Sparklers :) They are various sizes at this age but I think Claire may be the biggest and the new plus-size model -- she was 84 pounds yesterday!

Have a super fun day -- and enjoy your ability to see.

I am sending lots of love to Miss Zoey and everyone showing. That's a lot going on!

I was curious so stopped and weighed Kiri today. If Claire is the new plus-size model, Kiri is the Twiggy model at 64 pounds!

We are all sending our very best to Zoey as she works to overcome this latest challenge. We love you Zoey!

So sorry that Zoey is experiencing this unfortunate chemo side effect. I know from experience with a foster Berner that losing sight suddenly can be difficult for dogs (and I imagine humans as well). I am glad that she has some sight w/light. Hopefully her vision returns. Fingers crossed here.
