More Happy Birthday

More on the H Moon Birthday Celebration!

Toby shares: "I can't believe how quickly these 6 years have gone by.

My life changed that fateful day when I emailed Mary-Ann about her most recent H-litter and was told that yes, she just might have a puppy for me.  After a rigorous phone "interview" with Grandmom Terri Zimmerman, I guess I was approved.  To say it was love at first sight when I first met Holden would be an understatement.  Holden has brought such joy into my life, each and everyday.  He's the first thing I see waking up each morning, and the last thing I see going to bed each night-he's never far from me.

He's been very patient with me as I learned how to draft, and has been the perfect partner as we earned our ANDD last year, and just this past month, 2 Open Draft legs towards his Master Draft title.  We still play agility, though not as much these days as bar dropping is an issue since he's so busy watching me!  Our next goal is a CD, something I've never earned before on any dog,and would love to add to the list of "firsts" with Holden.  He's been super patient with his testosterone driven son, Clark, and is sweetly gentle with 11 & 1/2 year old Nora.  He's kind, smart, funny, loving and quite handsome.  I'm kind of smitten.  Here's to many, many more years with my special boy."

Thank you, Toby, for that email six years ago -- and for Holden's Wonderful Life! HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOLDEN SQUEAKER!

It's fun to see the H litter in their prime. Happy Birthday to you and your families.

MAB, what was the newborn theme for these guys? I understand names like George Pipster from the iPups but where did Holden Squeaker come from?

What a great update. I love the picture of Toby and Holden with the cart. I love Berners for the level of connection and trust I have been able to have in each relationship, and that picture, and their obvious and sweet regard for each other reminds me that THIS is what it is all about.

Here's to this being the best year yet, with more to come!
