Last of the Birthday

To finish up the birthday celebration, we catch up with Lainey and Harper B. Cindy shares this update about Lainey:

"As you can probably tell, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree! Lainey is definitely a wonderful Kaibab dog through and through heart

She is the bowl collector and counter surfer extraordinaire of the family!!!

She is also the princess of the house and ruler of the couch.

She is doing very well despite arthritis in her neck and back which curtailed her agility but nosework is her newest activity and she loves it!

She tolerates all of the boy berners around her in her patient way always knowing that she is in charge.

The second picture expresses how she feels about her new little cousin Onyx who recently came to join my daughter and her family - he is a bright spot in our lives and a wonderful addition!

We love our Lainey Lou so much and can't believe that she is already 6 years oldheart"

Thank you so much, Cindy and Vic, for giving Lainey such a happy and interesting  and well-loved life :)

Harper B for Bounced Back is doing GREAT!!!! She is sound and happy and enjoying her life. This is Harper B for Boise over the weekend...

Harper is working primarily on obedience at this time -- we hope to get her CD over the winter. She is an intelligent, happy, friendly and BUSY girl -- and quite lovely.

Harper B for Bob...

Aside from her two bum (but repaired) knees, Harper is a healthy girl with no other issues. Well, she wishes to share that she has issues with the cart -- specifically when turning, but she is in therapy for that ;)

Have a terrific Thursday.

P.S. Starting tomorrow we move on -- the preview is a lyric from a song I heard last night: "you gotta love like there's no such thing as a broken heart."

It's good to see happy, loved, and so treasured doggies! As for loving despite broken hearts, we sure are trying to to do that here. So much loss, so much sadness.
