Sparklers @ 11 Months

Nine sweet puppies born 11 months ago -- how are they faring, you might ask? Today is all about the Sparklers!

Abbie...

Claire (with Tika)...

How do their peeps describe them?

Abbie Underfoot: Snoogle boog, inquisitive, boisterous, sweetheart

Claire: Bold, happy, energetic, cuddly

Jordan: Fast, bouncy, cuddly and fun!

Kiri: Eager, exuberant, athletic, enthusiastic, whirling dervish, cuddly, flirt (read brazen hussy), shark

Lucas: Active, athletic, affectionate and hungry.

Ruthie: Sweet, cuddly, brilliant, adorable

Tika: Bright, excited, affectionate

Ze.D: Interactive, talkative (not bark - talk), playful

Zimmer: Energetic, persistent, eager, hungry

What themes do you see in that data?

Jordan...

Countersurfers?

Abbie: No

Claire: YES

Jordan: Reformed

Kiri: Yes

Lucas: No

Ruthie: Yes

Tika: YES

Ze.D: Absolutely not

Zimmer: Yes

I am thinking the Countersurfing gene is strong.

Kiri...

Weights?

Abbie: 63

Claire: 84

Jordan: 69

Kiri: 73

Lucas: 78

Ruthie: 67.6

Tika: 85

Ze.D: 83

Zimmer: 79

That is quite a range! I will add that Sparkle was a SLOW growing girl.

Lucas...

These are a few of my favorite things...

Abbie: Snoogling, elephant toy, string cheese

Claire: Food, me, walks, training

Jordan: Jumar, sheep, frisby and food and not necessarily in that order.

Kiri: Food, training of any kind, food and training together, food, playing/flirting with Uncle Tristan, food

Lucas: Playing with his brothers (Ruben and Micah), dinner time, retrieving his metal article, and riding in the car.

Ruthie: FOOD!!!,  chewing cloth (not allowed), George, me

Tika: FOOD! Snuggles. Playing with Jaeger. Running super fast.

Ze.D: Cats, treats, looking at Facebook

Zimmer: Tearing things up and chewing constantly,  running on the ball diamond with Ava, eating, going with us wherever we go, class because he loves to try new things.

I am sensing a theme...

Ruthie...

Tika...

Training Scale, defined as follows: On a scale of 1 - 10 with 1 being not at all, and 10 being extremely so -- how biddable (cooperative, easy to train) is your Sparkler?

Abbie: 10

Claire: 9

Jordan: 10+

Kiri: 8, the inner imp precludes a 9 or 10.

Lucas: 8

Ruthie: 12

Tika: Not chewing shoes 1. Most other things 6-7.

Ze.D; 7 - 8

Zimmer: 8

Good scores for adolescents!

Ze.D (and Uncle Nikko)...

Zimmer (with Auntie Ava)...

That seems to be an appropriate photo to end our peep at 11 month old Sparklers!

Happy 11 month anniversary, Sparklers. It's been a fun journey so far. The last photo is very appropriate. I have seen similar scenes in my house a number of times. The last victim was Sue's sales tax certificate. Oh well, as long as Lucas is having fun!

I think I meant “not bark, but talk”. Ze.D would go “woa woa woh woah woh woh” when he’s on his back in bed. He’s even, ore talkative when he sees other dogs or animals on TV.

What a joyful post. They're WONDERFUL! LOVE the adjectives used to describe them. Obviously, they are all adored and doing well. Must make lots of hearts happy!
