I love all the plumpies but seriously -- every time I see Lainey Pippi's picture my heart hurts! Maybe I should have kept two puppies?! Sigh... No, I know she is right where she should be but still... I love this puppy!!!!!!! Here is Cindy's update on my Heart Dog who doesn't live with me...

"Mary-Ann asked me to take some headshots of Lainey so here she is looking very lovely after chewing a nice big hole in the hot tub cover... DH hasn't seen it yet - sigh.

She will be quickly forgiven as she is a puppy and her Mom wasn't watching her quite closely enough, and besides... she is the perfect puppy :)

She was the star of her puppy class - thought it was rather silly that all of these other wild puppies were jumping up and not sitting calmly as she was... The teacher knows us well and all of my other dogs and just laughed at my concern about her softness - she said she is just fine and a very sensible puppy.

Lainey is sooo gray now - people in her class were asking if she would stay like this - they thought it was beautiful! I am having so much fun with this puppy but she is growing up too fast!!!!"

Thank you, Cindy -- and does anyone else notice that there are FLOWERS in those pictures!? What a doll she is -- Cindy and Lainey :)

Note to Vic: Obviously Lainey is too much trouble -- just send her back to Montana before she chews something else!!!!!

She is so beautiful...and sensible is a very nice word for her I think. Although I'm sure her siblings (one sister at least) will be happy to know that she had "a moment.":)

We are very blessed because we can both share our "heart puppies" with each other!!!!

She is a gorgeous puppy! Every week they look a bit more grown up. It is bittersweet...

So pretty! I gave Holden a bath today and he really looks gray now, plus I found that shiny patch of big boy fur on his tail :)
