More Indecision, Zeke!

So I think I am all decided and Terri Z. says Asia absolutely must go -- WAH!!!!!!!

And then I groomed dogs yesterday and Cadi and Zoey have started blowing coat, thereby ensuring they will be especially bald at the Specialty -- sigh....

Okay -- back to the drawing board. Here is my plan -- I have none. Well, Halo is staying home -- that is the state of the planning at this moment. And I will not take five dogs -- no way. I would prefer three but will take four because I have good, helpful friends. It is very hard to focus training when I have no idea what the heck we are doing!!!! UGH. I need a plan!

Okay, moving on... Zeke Update! He is looking good, friends (Terri -- brace yourself)... Barb shares, "Zekie Peekie had a good week. He was 53#. I had to send you a wet picture so you could see he is really thin.

He looks like a gangly teenager. He hadn't had a bath in quite a while. As soon as we got home he wrestled one of the big dogs and got covered in dirt of course...

It is really muddy here right now. Lots of melting snow due to unusual warm temperatures for March.

I got Keith to take a couple of pictures of him in class giving me his great attention.

Barb -- how is his bone issue -- all resolved? And what are three words to describe his temperament? That is my challenge to all this week -- three words to describe your plumpie's temperament :)

After Harper B for Bad Germs coughed and sneezed through her certification track yesterday, I gave in and she is started on antibiotics so hopefully she will be feeling better soon.

I hope your Sunday is going amazingly well!

I did not say the plus-sized model was going -- only that Terri was confusing me!!!!!!! This is not difficult, I admit... ;)

but she really should go.

So excited to hear you have other seasoned dog folk who believe in Plus Size Models!
Asia needs to be seen by the European Judge. :D

Oh, I do hope Asia will be in Gettysburg! I personally think she is gorgeous. I remember seeing her in Warwick when she was just a pup and I just fell head over heels. She could stay with me!!!

the more it seems only fair that I get Asia since AuggieAustin never did find his way to my mailbox!

I, too. am VERY happy that Asia is going!:) She is the beauty queen and I LOVE her size!!!!

Zeke is just adorable! His size and shape are very similar to Lainey.

3 words that is a challenge!! Zany, Zealous and Zensitive..
Zeke has never shown any more symptoms from the HOD. They do not recommend a follow up xray unless he limps. I'm starting to wonder if this could be a very under diagnosed thing in large breed dogs. If his hyperactive mother (with a long history of ortho problems in my dogs) hadn't run him off to the emergency vet but had given him a doggy aspirin or waited to see or iced him- I would never have known he had it. How many Berners get an xray at 4 months? How many have at least one episode of limping after playing and wrestling with big dogs??
Oh well we know to be careful and he seems to be fine.

I love the Zeke picture, he looks so outraged to get his picture taken when he is wet!! Too funny!

OK, how's this for a plan. There is no way to accurately predict who will be in coat or (zut alors!) in season at the time. So enter all five dogs in their appropriate events at the Specialty now, and then make your choice of three on the eve of departure based on who is in coat and not in season at that time. it will mean losing several entry fees, but it will also cover your bets. As long as you are not entering any test with a limited number of entries,

Maddie is completely oblivious to her new CD title, but is completely aware that, for some unknown reason, she made her Mommy very happy. We celebrated last night with hamburgers on the grill--and she got one of her very own--and today we're going for a walk in the green woods. Hope everyone is having a great day!

Please send all dogs not traveling to competition to ME! I'm assuming that you want adjectives to describe all of your dogs. Therefore, Faith is exquisite, compassionate, and faithful. With Faith, I am blessed, happy, and loved.

I think Zeke looks good for this age. He has nice dark eyes too.

Mary-Ann, take Harper and Asia and have some fun. Less dogs, less work.
