Why Not Zoey? Cadi. Mrs. Maize. Supported Entry. WOW.

How is that for a mixed up Blog title?! Let's just get right to it...

Dear Anonymous:

Thank you for your comment and question -- I appreciate comments a lot :) Yes, indeed -- why not Zoey? That is an excellent question and trust me -- I considered it. (Remember -- click "Read more" for full blog)

There are a few reasons why I decided the time was not right to breed Zoey. First, I do not want to stop showing her right now, especially in agility but also in conformation -- she is one (stinking) point from her Grand Championship and that point -- plus two more agility legs -- will make her a BMDCA Versatility Dog Excellent. My understanding is that no girl has achieved this yet -- and only two males have (Mac needs one more agility leg to complete this) -- so I do not want to stop our progress towards this goal by breeding her.

Second, I do not want to breed Zoey until I get her hips x-rayed again. She rated a "good" on prelims done by a Specialist but "fair" when done locally at age two -- and she came in season right after the films were done, which can inpact the rating. Therefore, I am not sure we have accurate results so I want to re-do those hips mid-cycle and also get a PennHip score on her. "Fair" is perfectly fine -- but I just want to make very sure I know what I have with Zoey before breeding her -- and I do not have that yet.

So really, the decision to breed Syd over Zoey is all about timing and information. And it reflects my confidence that Sydney will be every bit as successful as Zoey, even though she is getting a later start...

Next topic -- Cadi. She is doing fantastic and the tee-shirt works great for keeping her from her staples:

Speaking of fantastic -- Mrs. Maize is amazing, as usual. I took these this morning -- I also took some jumping shots but she is so fast they were blurry (okay, maybe the light was too low but let's pretend she was too fast!). Eleven years old -- Maize still loves agility so she still gets to do it at home -- here she is weaving:

Looking pretty good for an Old Lady!

No words needed for this -- what a blessing...

Okay -- now that our hearts are warm and fuzzy, how about a little fund raiser/help in honor of the Mrs.? Here is the blurb from our very own Terri Z.:

"As many of you know, the BMD Club of Greater Seattle holds a supported entry every year in January.  It's a lovely supported with great trophies and lovely ring favors.  The supported trophies are sponsored by individuals or groups of people as are the ring favors.  Each person(s) is noted in the catalog and newsletter and it's greatly appreciated by all. They are currently looking for sponsors for the 2012 ring favors and we have an opportunity to assist with these. If you would like to sponsor a few dollars (With the goal being 80 to 100 dollars) please mail to me (terrizim@msn.com)"

Me again -- that is a great show and they deserve support. I am seeing Terri next week and will fork out some $$$ to get the Amaizing Maize Ring Favor Fund started -- email Terri if you want to join in.

The WOW part of this Blog is how many hits this website is getting -- and do not worry, we are not tracking WHO visits so your secret is safe ;) But Galen tracks number of visits and sent this email yesterday: "your site got like 125 hits yesterday.... you are well over 1100 now in 10 days.... WHAT THE HECK?!?!?!"

So yea -- WOW. And thanks for your visits :)

Choose to have an amazing day -- I hope that is easy!

That's all -- just wondering if Galen could add some buttons so when we're reading a full blog entry, we could move back to the day before's entry with an "older" button...

I am not surprised you're getting that many hits =) I check it out almost every day, and I'm sure there are lots of others who do the same. You just didn't know your fan club was so big!

Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword....wait there's even more Now what if i told you there was a simple Wordpress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That's right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at. <a href="http://www.SeoOptimizedRankings.com">Seo Plugin</a>
